Is The Bible True, As It Is Widely Asked

The greatest question that humanity have always asked themselves has been a concern to many writers. Is the bible true? This has been a question over a long time. Hundreds of scripts have been written by various writers trying to get the truth on the validity of the scripture. Quite number of individuals have various stand over this matter. Christians are the main users of this book and they strongly feel it is God who wrote the book Himself using his chosen people.

There are other religions who do not believe in the holy book and they perceive it as being misleading. The Muslims who believes in Quran have on many occasion criticized the Bible as being misleading, nevertheless the Christians maintains that scripture is the true word of God that every humankind should follow.

The Christians and the Judases believe in the library of the books which is the book of God. Different bibles exist with different contents in it. The contents of these two believers varies since there the canonical texts that it comprises varies with each form. There might be addition, deletion or subtraction of words hence the rise of disparities in the arrangement of these books.

Catholic Church for example have included more books adding up to total of 73 books unlike the Protestants scriptures have 66 books. This creates rift between the two versions raising doubts on the originality of the holy book.

The Holy Spirit provided an inspiration to authors to write the revelation of god to human kinds but did not give them a complete word (bible). These books were combined by the church to form a single authoritative sacred scripture and named it the word of the lord. The authors can however be biased in one way hence May raising questions whether the bible is accurately written.The translation of word into different languages can lead to omission of some scripts or even distort the original message. The contents of the canon will thus come in many different forms hence leading to differences in versions.

The Christians view it as a place where a life of love and good works is experienced. They are given guidance on their daily undertakings through the holy writing. The civilization of world in music arts, ethics and the law have been majorly influenced by only the scripture. Great thinkers and leaders in the history have affirmed to it hence raising its credibility.

The authors of the holy book are believed to have been righteous people who were very close to God and lived an exemplary life which touched many people lives. In addition several prophesies have been consistent from the old testament to the New Testament. For instance the Old Testament prophesied on the coming of the messiah (the son of God) which came to pass in the New Testament.

Every individual have his/her understanding of these verses. The faith of an individual is what creates a stand on whether to believe in it or not. The Quran has more books included in it more than the bible hence making therefore making the Muslims to believe that the scripture is misleading. It is not compulsory for human beings to believe in it but have the right to give individual taking.
