Israel In Prophecy And The Four Blood Moons

By Elaine Guthrie

When one lives outside the law of religion, it can often be hard to understand prophecy, unless of course one is into Nostradamus who also left a number of prophecies behind, some of which have come to pass, others not. Or, at least that is what many individuals believe. The same goes for Israel in prophecy, on this prophecy is tied to religion unlike the earlier prophecies of Nostradamus.

It is often asked why Israel is always front and center in world news. With the current issues of the day, it is clear to see why Egypt, Israel, and Libya are in the news. Though, for most the reasons for discussing Israel are political and religious, not just political.

While the current news in the region is quite tragic in relation to Coptic Christians and others, the Jewish people have seen a rebirth though not through the eyes of terrorists. Yet, through the eyes of Israel as having been reborn a new Nation in 1948. The holy war over Palestinian statehood, regardless of which side one might be on will also most likely continue until the end of time, thus not allowing Israel solo rule over the people.

Other Israeli prophecies are tied to the Moon. First, April 15, 2014 being a total lunar eclipse with three additional eclipses to follow. These eclipses combined are known as a Tetrad, with the second having taken place on October 8, 2014, the third on April 4, 2015 and the last to take place on September 28, 2015. One of only eight tetrads to occur in the 21st century.

Most scientists and scholars denounce the red of the moon as only being related to light scattering throughout the atmospheric regions of earth. As prophets recognize the solar eclipse as being part of the process, it is believed that the last solar eclipse in March of 2015 is the beginning of the end, and, that we have actually been in the seven years of tribulation since 2008.

There have always been zealots planning and professing the coming of Christ, the coming of the end or simply, the end of times in relation to the Mayan Calendar in 2012, another prophecy left unfulfilled like many others associated with Nostradamus. Some say the delays are due to human activity and intervention or simply a bad timeline while others just see the prophecies as false.

There has now been a book written called "Four Blood Moons, " which became a best seller. The book spent almost half of 2014 on the best seller list and has gained attention worldwide. The blood moon has now received a great deal of attention in the field of science and technology. For Christian based believers who believe in a second coming, many are anxiously now awaiting Fall and the hope of ascension into the Kingdom Heaven.

Prophecy is supernatural as is the belief in anything unseen, as such it is not real until it happens. While some prophecies have come to pass, most can be attributed to coincidence. And, the fact that the Mayans predicted the end of the world in 2012 and the world is still here speaks volumes to those which have not come to pass.
