The date of the event must be set first before everything else. The planning for the theme and motif will come as you seek for a place. Most couples celebrate in restaurants and hotels but that sounds too common. These locations could actually have changing schedules which could possibly ruin your planned date. If the bride and groom agree to have it in such, well, they need to plan for the date immediately. They must not worry still. Many locations that have flexible schedules can still be availed aside from the common places.

In choosing a wedding location, it is best to think about the capacity of the said place whether it could hold quite a number of people or not. Try checking if the location is accessible for the guests. Also, one could consider if both the ceremony and reception could happen there. Also, try asking if they do have overtime charges. Some places could offer great packages that could somehow help in minimizing wedding expenses.

The kind of food that will be served at the event must also be considered. Some places offer catering services while others do not. In case that the venue could not cater the foods, it is better to prepare a list of approved catering services. With this, you can easily contact them and make reservations for food tasting and the event itself.

Try thinking of a venue that would suit your theme. Check the ornaments and colors if it would match your taste for the theme. You could add on more flowers and decorations in case you are not contented of the designs you are seeing.

There are couples who want to have an outdoor wedding. This may seem hassle and more expensive. They need to provide large tents, some table and chairs for the guests to sit in. Preparing a backup plan is also advised in cases of bad weather and rain.

The location must also have security guards for your guests. Some guests may be famed and popular and might as well have the need to be secured. It is best to have guards all around to maintain peace in the whole ceremony.

Once everything is settled, contract signing will follow. One cannot have a reservation without paying for down payment and signing some necessary documents. In case of changes in the reservation, an updated copy must be provided.

Do not stick on to one place only. Try canvassing in other places whether they could provide cheaper packages compared to the others.
