Great Facts About The Christian Church

Usually, a Staten Island Christian Church would refer to the entire Christian religious tradition and history. It may also mean a certain building or a place of worship. However, other groups consider this as an invisible reality which cannot be defined by any earthly structures and may even equate it with other groups that would share the same essential elements of doctrine and practice.

It might be defined as a local assembly of believers or a particular congregation that will have to meet physically together for purposes of worship, fellowship, encouragement of faith and teaching. It often has two primary reasons. The first one is to help each member achieve spiritual maturity. Another is to further spread the love of Christ and also the gospel to those who are unbelievers that are in the world.

The entire purpose of the church is to minister both the believers and unbelievers. It is important because it will serve as a vehicle through which God could carry out his purpose on earth. It acts as the body of Christ that is reaching out to the world.

It is often made up of regenerated believers in Jesus. It is often a community that holds true to the manifestation of the supernatural life of the triune God. However, there are many unbelievers and some outsiders that join the meetings of the community.

A competent and qualified leader will organize and guide them all. He will take the responsibility of sharing and teaching all the gifts to all parts of the community. He leads the overall congregation in various decision making concerning possible problems which are divisive.

Every member will gather around to hear more from the Word of God that is rightly preached and they will respond in various ways of worship. It is ruled under the pontifical authority and is still continuously growing and learning. During the early times, some people have devoted themselves to all the teachings of the disciples, not because they were told to, but their regenerated hearts wanted to.

Most of the people had received the Spirit and seen remarkable miracles already. They even witnessed great conversion growth among them. As disciples, they know that they must learn things to help in the transformation of their lives. Now that the apostles are long gone, their teaching authority remains the same in the form of the Scripture.

Worship is their form of responding to all the revelations of Christ that comprises of adoration and some other forms of proclamation about the mightiness of God and all his great works. In such communities, some sacraments such as baptism or Communion are often performed and practiced mostly. They are unified through the help of God the Holy Spirit.

The Staten Island Christian Church is made up of holy people. When they begin to sin, they try to repent for it. If they fail to repent, the leaders would lovingly enact some biblical disciplines in the hope of bringing the sinner to repentance and to a reconciled relationship with God and to all His people. The Gospel of Jesus is constantly made visible in this community by forms of preaching and fellowship, where the witnesses are all the members which are empowered by life of love.
