Experience can be earned from interning and I feel like I have enough of it under my belt to speak of it. You may be able to pick up on things as you listen to your professor go on about his or her lecture but how much are you actually learning? You have to be able to get out of the classroom and into the working world so that you can have a taste of what the working world is about.

It seems like the work put forth has been reason enough for them to be hired, which is definitely worthy of note.
